Medical Missions
Every year medical and dental teams from the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, the Episcopal Diocese of North Dakota, and Saint John’s Cathedral of Jacksonville, Florida visit Quetzaltenango and area villages.
The teams provide high quality medical and dental care to people who often have no other alternative. All of the care and medicines are without cost to the recipients.
Each team member must provide funds for their own transportation, meals and lodging. Many of the doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, translators, and medical and dental students return year after year.
